Ensure you read the manual prior to purchasing. Unfortunately, due to design, the max window depth is 11", we initially tried to install on a 12" depth, and that did not work, as the clamps got in the way... Fortunately, we had another window where the depth was 11". We were able to install this, it works pretty well in the room. 12,000 BTU delivers a great amount of cool air, and can't be any happier..
