Very quiet compared to most brands I’ve had. I do think it could be a littler cooler on max but it will eventually cooldown the room and maintain good temp after. I have been using these filters for the last 7 years. I live in LA and the facet water isn’t the best to drink. These filters make a healthy water that taste good. Central air broke we purchased this unit to use short term , a month later still not fixed . This LG unit cools the whole downstairs. Quick easy setup .
