It is solid wood construction. The legs are made of wood as well. The hooks are made of metal – iron. This hat rack needs to be assembled. You can assemble it with the aid of a screwdriver. No additional parts are required. It is a freestanding installation. It is compliant with standards set by the American National Standards Institute, the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association, the International Tropical Timber Organization, as well as the American Society for Testing Materials. Wipe this rack with a dry cloth to keep it clean. Once in a while, spray it with furniture polish before wiping dry.
