Headboard/footboard are solid wood, the rest of the pieces are particle board veneer, including the bed rails!! I had selected solid wood as a filter, and I guess I should have read the description better and more thoughly. I cant knock wayfair for this, but READ what is ACTUALLY wood and what is not. However, the welds look a bit messy and the screws sometimes don’t sink all the way in the holes so a couple of them had to be put in without the locking washer. Also with anything you buy here you have to pay return shipping and for this it’s about 25. So that’s 25 in the hole plus gas and my time. And it’s heavy so you gotta haul it to a Fed ex. So be very sure when you guy a rug! This one is the lighter one!! Also the material is a bit itchy so if you walk on it barefoot not a vibe.
