This double sliding door is one giant heavy beast, probably because of the 14” thick 2 glass door panels and the heavy duty hardware. It’s a beautiful unit but I really didn’t think it through. My shower is a fiberglass shell and because my house is over 100 years old, we don’t know yet if there are intact studs behind the shell. Lovely shower door. The curve at the top is lovely. We installed our shower door to open inward but the instructions show to have it open outward. FedEx did a poor job of dropping this door off at our home but it wasnt damaged even though they were rough to the box.
