Since the sink itself is stainless steel, it is not quiet when the faucet is running however, it isn’t as loud as my other SS sink since this one has a coating underneath. I had toyed with the idea of another Nantucket that had numerous attachments, but I stuck with simple and I’m so glad because there’s less surface area to clean. For me, simplebetter. Very nice.. Beautiful sink and got plenty of comments on it before and just after it was installed. Still think it’s a beautiful sink but does scratch very easily. We used sink for 2 days before sink grid arrived and babied it. It still got one small scratch as cooking utensils were put at bottom of sink. It has subsequently started rusting. It is no larger than a grain of rice but is noticeable. The sink grid helped to cover it up but is still frustrating based on cost. If purchasing, make sure to get the sink grid before using.. Derek.
