I had previously ordered the same bench from another vendor and it showed up completely busted, but this time there was only minor internal damage. I think the problem lies in the fact that it is shipped pre-assembled, which is convenient, but if not handled properly in transit it leads to damage. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.. Even though I had the measurements - sometimes it is hard to visual what the size will be - it is not as deep (front to back) as I was hoping - the length and height are great. I want to use it to store quilts - like a cedar chest. It won't hold many at all. I do like the look of it. The legs were easy to put on (although the diagram was incorrect on the order of the locking washer and regular washer).
