The range hood came well packaged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. Overall great vent!! Such an ideal fit!! Simple and slightly modern look with smooth and easy edges. The depth does not reach too far out, which is really brilliant, because I am 5'8" and once in a while I will hit the edge of most range vents that stick out farther. The digital buttons work well! I do wish the suction was a bit stronger, but it will suffice. Had I know, I would have went with the 900 CFM model. Installation was standard for a range hood. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet.
