Easy to assemble and overall satisfied with the island. Took away a star because one of the side panels was broken when removing it from the box I had to glue it and wait for the glue to dry before assembling. It’s a substantial piece of furniture. I like the color and I like the dimensions. I wish that it had come in one piece and not had to be put together, but I’m sure it was too big to ship. My only other qualm is the drawers… They’re not soft close and you have to push them in and then give them another hard push to get them to close completely. Assembly was easy and able to be done by one person. Waiting to attach to until in kitchen when other arranging is done. For ease of moving piece while storing as the weight is in the butcher block top. Am very happy with the looks of the piece and the solid feel to the island while drawers and doors work very well.. My item arrived today. It's better then I expected. The item looks just like the picture. The drawers and cabinet are just what I expected. I would reccomend this item to anyone thinking of buying it. The only issue when unpacking it is that one of the caster wheels support piece was not attached. These lights are beautiful and very well built. They are deserving of the 5th star except this one came with a rectangular pendant box, the 6 light cluster came with an oval pendant box. I rounded the corners on the rectangular to try to give a similar look as they are next to one another in my kitchen.
