This tile is beautiful, with a nice sheen and enough irregularity to catch the light and make it look expensive. However, 2/3 of the boxes I ordered came with broken tiles. I think broken tiles are more likely with this format because the grooves create weaknesses in the 14x14 sheets. Besides the breakage, the tile was easy to work with and regular enough that all the groves lined up without too much effort. I used it for my kitchen backsplash and am really pleased with the look. Beautiful accent tile! Installation did take some time due to the weight of the tile so couldnt put it all up at once and keep the spacing in the pattern. Also due to the pattern, there was a lot of wasted cutting. Overall it was worth doing and I love it!. Anonymous. Sun Apr 05 2026
