I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. The slanted back is comfortable and the water depth is deep enough to soak without a cold back. Holds heat well enough you can break out in sauna sweat if you’re in a hot bath long. It was lightweight and the installers were able to get it set up fairly quickly. We believe it has added value to our home because it transformed that bathroom into a beautiful space.
