Love this tile. The only note I would make is that since it has three pieces on one tile there is “grout” between the tiles. It’s is bright white. My tile installer was able to grout over the existing grout and the new spaces in between. It also dictates what sizing you have to use for the grout. I hadn’t thought about this before installing.. It’s good stuff! Love the color and finish, and as mosaic tiles go, it’s a very easy install. Being porcelain, it’s very hard and durable, and perhaps best of all, you can use an orbital sander to remove thinset and grout without damaging the finish—huge time saver! Just one critical thing to know in advance: these are spaced at 4mm, and you’ll have to search hard to find 4mm spacers. 3/16 is too wide, 1/8 is too skinny. On the upside, if things start looking a wee bit out of alignment, you can use those 3/16 and 1/8 spacers (very selectively) to cheat a little, with no discernible impact to aesthetics.. Ryan. This stuff is pretty amazing. I had 3 tile with cracks and chips that were very obvious (sorry forgot to take a before photo). If you know where the repairs are, and get a few inches from the floor, you can see the fix. Even at what distance , it looks 10x better! This would work well where you are trying to match rougher textured applications such as brick or stone. Unsanded caulk has a smoother finish. Common places to use this siliconized acrylic latex unsanded caulk is against backsplashes in the kitchen, along bathtub surrounds, windows and more. The unsanded tends to be easier to clean because of its smooth surface.
