This small dining table is the perfect size for two and our compact kitchen dining area. It looks decent and doesn’t feel cheap, just appropriate for the price. Assembly only took 20 mins for 2 people, although we did have to put some effort into screwing in parts 4, as they were difficult to fit properly. We were also unable to install parts 7, it seemed like they didn’t quite reach the pre-drilled holes even with the bolts. In the end, we decided not to use them, and the table still feels stable and sturdy. The color is more neutral in natural daylight and slightly more yellow under warm indoor lighting. Its a nice piece of furniture, but be careful of the color. When I saw vintage white , I knew that it would be rustic and not pure white, but this is well beyond that. Its creamy on the yellow side. Ive been in the paint business for 40 years and it is stretching it to even call it an off-white. See the attached picture. I ended up dry brushing some white over it so that it better matched my existing furniture. You can see the before and after. Once again, happy with the furniture, just factor in the color.. Darren. I ordered this wood table to replace an old round table I bought as a set with 6 chairs. My old set came with 6 chairs but you couldn’t use all of them because the table was too small and it had the traditional 4 table legs that prevented chairs to go under the table. I have been looking for one that was an oval shape and big enough for 6 chairs. I also wanted just a table and not a set. The chairs from my old set are still in great condition. I just didn’t like the table itself. This one has a hidden leaf that when used makes the table big enough for 6 chairs. The chairs from my old set fit perfect and the dark wood pattern matches great. I like that it has a pedestal type leg instead of 4 individual ones. This allows all the chairs to push in under table when not in use. It is very sturdy when assembled. This dining table looks very much like the online pictures. The top has a few negatives though. There are indentations on the top surface so food particles can get stuck in the grooves.
