Additionally, it has a solar panel on the top so the lights inside can charge. There is also a button for you to change the light color, with several options. This is such a great umbrella! It took a little while to assemble, mainly adding sand to the support bags which took 3.5 bags of playground sand. It definitely helps keep things secure but we still lower the umbrella when it gets breezy. The solar lights are such a pleasant add on.
