This is a great swing. It was fairly easy to put together, although it's helpful to have 2 people for some of it. There is a small dent in the top bar, but not bad enough to send back. I love this porch swing! It is a great size. Why just the 4 stars? The instructions didn't have all the parts labeled and did not account for certain positions the pieces need to be in; you know, the things you realize when you're about finished with construction and realize the leg assembly on the right needs to be flipped around? Yeah, that made us decide to just leave the thing flipped wrong. Lol I took the pics right after a soaking rain, and you can see the design flaw with the fabric covering the top: the rainwater pools in sections no matter how much you have it tilted. It's a mess of a waterfall to refit the top. With that said, I really like the look and feel of this item, but my husband will need to put something sturdy and flat underneath the top shade thingy. I’ve been wanting a swing for a good while and finally chose this one. I’ve been using it for less than a week and love it. I bought a 3 person swing and the seat has plenty of room to lay on-I’m 5’5”. It also has the back that lays flat and I’m sure it will be a bonus soon. This chair was perfect for an accent chair in my living room without being another 4 footed chair on the ground. It was easy enough to hang.. just make sure that you have a stud finder & available beams in your ceiling. (I had about an inch between the drywall and the beam, which made things more complicated, but ultimately we were able to go through the can lights) Once hung, Ive had no issues!
