This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. I wasn’t sure about using a ductless product but as I have a sloped ceiling in my kitchen and didn’t want to have to figure a way to run ductwork out without ruining the look of my kitchen, this one made sense. I was shocked at how well it works and just how beautiful it is. I love it. I have a 6 burner gas stove with a griddle and this hood does a great job! It also provides a lot of light.
