This is, in general, a pretty good middle ground between higher-end, no-assembly-needed wood dressers and the build-yourself particle board/MDF stuff. It was fairly easy to assemble, BUT - get a drill. You will want it, even if you technically don't. Be prepared for some of the pre-drilled holes to be done badly/off axis - I had to drill a new hole at the right place/angle twice while constructing two of these dressers. The wood color is pretty nice, although I had hoped the pecan color would have been warmer/deeper. It is pine wood, so it is pretty soft, so you can scratch/dent it if you're not careful - but it's more robust than particleboard. The drawer slides seem perfectly adequate and I've had no issues. My biggest tip is to open the box outside or in your garage if you can - it is packaged with the cheapest, flakiest styrofoam I have ever seen, which will get everywhere. Ultimately, if you are handy with a drill this is an easy job, and I would give this 5/5 for the cheap closeout sale price I paid, but 3-4/5 stars at sticker price.. Hannah. San Ramon, CA. This bed is so beautiful! It came in with a horrible star tool and thank goodness I had my own as the one they gave in the kit was horrible! Also on one side of the bed there was no holes in the material so we had to make our own in the fabric to mount to the base but overall its a very sturdy, and beautiful bed. Wayfair has been great in getting in touch with the manufacturer regarding some sort of warranty should we have issue but hope we have none. We are happy with the purchase from Wayfair. I think it’s nice however the individuals who made the bed posts didn’t care where they were drilling holes. I had to make makeshift holes for a couple of pieces. I also have two twin mattresses for the bottom but there’s a gap between the top and bottom of the bed frame which I hate. It makes the pillows sink in between the frame and mattress and isn’t really safe for small children. Other than that it’s really nice and seems sturdy. I am about 210 pounds. The Queen Size Sleigh bed is extremely solid! It was really easy to put together. The color of the wood fits in perfectly with my existing furniture! It came packaged very well with no damage during delivery. If there is any downside, I would say the Queen size frame fits the box spring snug with no room to spare. Super stunning. I wanted solid wood. I wanted beautiful grain. I wanted sturdy and welll made. This checked all the boxes. I was worried it would have the worry of shin banging as so many people reviewing platform style beds speak of but NO not with this one. The side and bottom rails stick out minimally..not much more than a regular sideboard of a standard bed. I was worried it would be too low. It's not. It's lower than a bed with a box spring but not futon low. The wood is gorgeous. The head board is sturdy and more so when situated up against the wall as it's meant to be. Tons of slats that screw into solid wood. It was spendy but I was planning on this bed for a really long time. It's so nice to say farewell to my box spring.
