So perfect! We ordered this to replace a bulky microwave that was over the range. This was the perfect fit! My grandpa is handy and was able to cut an old extension cord to connect the wires from the hood vent and make it able to plug in for power. Otherwise this would have needed an electrician or someone savvy like him to get the light and fan working. It’s not an easy plug and play for power. I ordered this for the wall behind our stove at our summer cabin. The wall was an ugly linoleum, which I covered with some cool peel & stick paper. We had to hang it vertically since we have trim pieces on either side that wouldn't allow it to be horizontal. It was packaged very securely and took a while to open. It’s SHINY! I knew it would be but it’s reflective beyond what you expect when you unpack it. The hooks aren’t super heavy duty but I wasn’t planning on loading them up due to our fastening restrictions at the house. Be careful unpacking it as the edges are very sharp. It serves its purpose, however, I do think it’s strange that there is no way to attach it to the actual range. It just sits on the floor so it can easily be kicked and pushed back.
