This is such a great bed! My daughter is obsessed with pink as you can tell from the pictures. It is such a fun bed for her! The lights are great and color changing. It seems to be built really nice also. Instructions were great which was so nice! The only things that I would change about this bed are putting a couple extra wheels on the trundle part to make it a little easier to put in and out and having the ability to put the headboard on the left or right end of the bed would be nice but these are not dealbreakers.. Allow a clearance of 30-36 inches around the open bed. The dual-mount wall bed mechanism attaches to the floor and wall for ease of assembly and maximum stability and durability. To avoid risk of injury, the Murphy bed must be installed to wall and floor structure by a professional or qualified person. Two people are required for assembly. Installation requires attachment to wood studs or masonry, removal of the baseboard, and drilling into the floor. All necessary hardware is included. We took 3 days to assemble fully. Quality is nice, however, instructions are not always clear. Some steps should come before others for easier assembly. There are very limited written instructions which make it confusing. We had to drill holes in one piece ourselves to assemble properly. We were told to raise legs on the cabinet if installing on carpet, now the doors don't reach the top of the cabinet. Can't go back and lower them now, because the unit is attached to the wall. We added some padding in the door hooks to raise them a tad, now it's at least functional. More explanation is needed for a lot of these steps. Overall it will definitely serve it's purpose.. Susan.
