I decided to keep the lamps because I love everything else about them. I did read where some ppl felt the gold on the base looked cheap but I didn’t think so, just the finials…but you really can’t tell once the finials are in place. The lamps are a classy timeless look! These are such a great, affordable option if you’re looking for small, matching lamps for a bedside table, for outdoor dining, or for a small space away from an outlet. I was initially a little disappointed that the lampshades advertised as glass are actually plastic, but it ultimately makes these more sturdy. The three tones of lighting and dimmable feature are all super handy. Love that these charge with a USB-C and also can be used while plugged into a charger, my only real complaint is wishing they had a longer battery life than just a few hours.
