This tile is beautiful, with a nice sheen and enough irregularity to catch the light and make it look expensive. However, 2/3 of the boxes I ordered came with broken tiles. I think broken tiles are more likely with this format because the grooves create weaknesses in the 14x14 sheets. Besides the breakage, the tile was easy to work with and regular enough that all the groves lined up without too much effort. I used it for my kitchen backsplash and am really pleased with the look. So bright and vivid! I got this tile in royal blue after searching high and low for a bright blue tile. I had seen a picture somewhere of a bathroom which I used as inspo. These turned out great! They've been on the floor for 2 weeks and there has not been any lifting or bubbling. When installing, I made sure the floor were clean and did my best to get the tiles as tightly fit together as possible, using the claw end of a hammer to really push/pull the tiles together for as seamless of a fit as possible. The Tile Life Tahitian Pearl Glass Mosaic Tile comes in Calacatta Gold, Statuario Silver and White. It is a perfect fit for the backsplash, bathroom wall, shower wall, fireplace surround, and outdoor covered. This glass, satin, irregular, grid, mesh-backed, rectified, straight-edge tile is impervious and waterproof. The box comes with 10 pieces which equal 9.7 sq ft of coverage. The sheet weighs 294 lbs and has a recommended grout joint of 1/16 inches. The overall thickness is 0.625 inches. PEI 0 - Wall use only. Please note that a sample of this product is a partial piece that is manually cut with a machine from the full-size tile. That is done so that customers can analyze the product and its respective variations in different design types. Shipping and delivery of a sample are much faster than a case or sheet order, especially if the order is Less than Load Freight (LTL).
