Very happy with this purchase. Arrived protected by foam inserts totally around the ends. Very heavy Duty type of unit. Has duel blowers that have a 10 year warranty. And have 4 speed settings. Which you can operate by either touch, remote or by waving your head across the front of the unit. I do recommend having two people to lift and install it. It comes already set up for a round duct through the top. But they give you plates to change it over to 4" X 10" like I had to do. Very simple process. It comes with a plug attached if you already have an out in the cabinet over it. Or you can hard wire it . Which is what I chose to do. Overall it's a very nice unit and I am happy with it. Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off.
