I really like our new umbrella. It seems sturdy, although I've yet to see it in a big wind storm. I will definitely have to make sure it is closed. It sets up really nice. The reason I gave this a 4 is because the base of it is very sharp. My husband built a box on our deck to hold the umbrella, which works very well. First opening the box, it looked to be a major undertaking. However it was a simple job. Just a few notes : some of the pieces are heavy, especially the umbrella holder and might need a second person. The raising and lowering handle was a bit tedious to line up the hole. This umbrella is fantastic and glides open and closed so easily. It was difficult to assemble though, and I had to hire a handyman. I’m usually pretty decent on my own, but this was cumbersome.
