Bathroom remodel and just had to pick this free standing tub for a small space! It has one straight side to push against the wall and the 2 sides taper in to make it easy to clean the sides of the trunk and not behind it! Since it's flat against the wall ! And you don't need that free standing water faucet screwed to the floor collecting dust! With this new flat sided tub, you can mount your bath fixtures in the wall in the middle of the tube instead of one end. You see...by mounting fixture in the middle you can relax up against both ends and and not hit your head on the fixtures. Lol and you can also make it a 2 person tub??!! Oh my!!! The tub is gorgeous. Make sure you use mild detergent to clean like dishwashing liquid. I used soft scrub comet and it took forever to get the lighter color film residue off. It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite.
