Sturdy, Cute, and functional. Came well packaged. It took me about 3.5hrs to assemble by myself. You can put it together in 1/2 the time if assembly is your gig. I left the towel rack off and eventually took the side shelf off, because my room is small and honestly I think it looks better. When the leaf is open, it created more counter top than I thought it would. The back is plain and could use some adhesive drawer/shelf liner, which I might do later. Just put it together today (by myself, mind you!), so I can’t speak to the quality long term, but it’s perfect for what I need right now. Took me an about 2 hours to put together - lining up the heavy top was a little bit of a struggle, but i got it after a few adjustments. It’s heavier duty partial board, but the coating on it seems like it’ll hold up well. This cart is functional, pretty, and exactly what I needed for my kitchen space. Solid wood, easy to put together. The instructions were clear, and easy to follow. It lost one star because I only received one cabinet knob, not two, and had to run to the hardware store to purchase replacements to complete the build. The customer service center was closed for the weekend by the time I realized the error, but regardless I wanted it completed, so off I went. Replacement knobs in hand, the rest of the assembly went smoothly. Getting the top placed correctly was a teensy bit tricky, I do wish there had been some indication as to what was the front or back, but I managed to get it done. I ordered this in white to match a baker’s rack that I also ordered from Wayfair, and I’m very happy with it. I have an outdated kitchen with minuscule space for kitchen prep, and while the island top isn’t as big as I’d like it to be, it definitely adds some much-needed prep space, along with a ton of storage, including drawers and cabinets. It’s incredibly heavy, sturdy and functional. I wasn’t crazy about the silver hardware, so I did switch out the knobs snd pulls to better match the hardware in the rest of my kitchen.
