We had 2 of these installed. The control panel became unattached on the first one and Wayfair sent us another range hood. I thought the first hood was pretty loud, but did an ok (just ok) job sucking smoke from the kitchen. But with the second hood, the installer noticed that the intake piece that is supposed to open when the hood was on has only half opening, which was causing the hood to be very loud. Looks very clean and modern, it was easy to install for two DIYers after watching ProLine video on YouTube. Sounds reasonable in our open plan kitchenhouse. Even though the shroud is wide, the air guide behind it on top of the motor doesnt leave a lot of space for the electrical outlet, so I recommend placing the outlet higher and off to the side..
