This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. The umbrella base arrived quickly and on time. It was super easy to fill the sections with water and I also put step stones on top, just to have extra weight. So far, so good. The weights were ok but it would help to know what weight whether water or sand would total in each section. And one section had a pin hole at the neck of the entry and the water that leaked. If your offset patio umbrella doesn't come with a base, you may have to move a slab or other heavy object to hold it down on breezy days. Your umbrella will inevitably get scratched, and you will have to deal with the hassle of moving heavy items around, which will ruin your outdoor experience.
