Do not, I repeat, Do not get the ‘GE Installation’ service with this appliance. Even if you buy an installation kit. The technician will come in, excuse in hand, and will tell you that any dust, or light green on the gas pipe disallows them to service the installation. (When plumbers test for gas leaks upon installation they spray a little water on the line, leading to a light green) Be ready with your own plumber on the day of delivery. This fridge is now 2 years old and has worked almost flawlessly, with the exception of the light on the door water dispenser (currently not functional). Ice maker within the bottom freezer compartment has worked without issue and makes a lot of ice ! Auto shut off works when it’s full again. Shelves and drawers are sturdy, and unit maintains steady cold temperature. I’ll give it a 5 star rating despite the non functional door light because everything else works great !. Mike Woods. It's exactly what my wife wanted, and she's happy with it. For installation, the gas line and the electrical wire have to share a very small space at the bottom in the back. Advice: Don't try to use a gas line that's longer than 36" (1m). Both a 3-prong and a 4-prong electrical wire were included.
