Grescatta

kit# 2 luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Loctite power grab ultimate adhesive or boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

An old addition to the house presented restrictions while renovating the bathroom. This vertical triple-shelf shower niche was the perfect solution! While the width was able to fit between the 12” between the studs, the shelves are still large enough to fit economy-size bottles. We purchased 2 to install side-by-side. With the cut-out measurements available on Wayfair, our contractor was able to rough out the walls before the niches arrived, and they arrived quickly!
