Note, I am an engineer, so please take the following comments bearing that in mind. Rankings of each category are 1-5 Stars. 1) Overall quality (5*). The finished product is great. After reading numerous reviews of sheds that are too flimsy and not weather resistant, this one seems well designed, durable (steel) and capable of keeping out light to moderate rain. However since it's made of steel, rust may be an issue in time . 2) Price per Sq. ft. (4.5*). Note: the 8' x 6' dimension is an exterior dimension. The interior is slightly less, however this it typical of this type of shed. Based on other sheds I've seen and read about, not having the same quality, this one matches up nicely. 3) Ease of assembly. (4*). Plan on two people over two days (average). It will require some ladder work, but not a lot. All pieces are light enough to be lifted by one person. Each piece is clearly identified. The instructions match the assembly procedure fairly well (mostly pictorial - good!). At times you really have to study the instructions (pictures) and the pieces involved, otherwise you may error and need to remove / redo a section. Helpful tip: Take all of the parts out, if possible, and inventory them prior to starting assembly. Group parts with similar assembly codes together. This shed is nice! It’s not what I expected but so far it’s been good. It is very windy where we live and so far the shed has been super sturdy. It is resin and has channels. Not sure how the floor will hold up, but the walls once assembled seem great. Assembly is a lot of prep and it takes 2-3 people. Comes in pretty heavy boxes so be prepared. The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together.
