First opening the box, it looked to be a major undertaking. However it was a simple job. Just a few notes : some of the pieces are heavy, especially the umbrella holder and might need a second person. The raising and lowering handle was a bit tedious to line up the hole. This is a very nice and beautiful cantilevered patio umbrella. The setup is very quick and easy. The color (we chose aqua blue) is amazing. It covers a very large section of the yard and can be angled in a number of ways to maximize the surface area against the position of the sun. It’s awesome. I was skeptical at first, but… it’s incredibly easy to put together and super easy to open and close. I love the lights and the base is extremely sturdy. I filled it with 12 sand and 12 water so it weights about 350 pounds. I highly recommend this cantilever umbrella. I also love the way it’s adjustable up and down and also swivels left and right. If you’re looking for a cantilever umbrella….look no further. If you have the means…..I highly recommend. We were looking for something in a metallic pea or an Antarctic blue….but we settled on the black….and let me tell you…..it’s one of the best decisions we’ve ever made in our lives…hands down…bing…bang…boom..
