I have several seating areas and have ordered my share of umbrellas so i think i have a pretty good sense of comparison and quality. This umbrella is about one of the best I have gotten so far. The construction is far superior and the fabric is thick and blocks the strong sun. For the very first time the pole fits snug into my base (I used my own not the one the umbrella came with).
