This tile is beautiful, with a nice sheen and enough irregularity to catch the light and make it look expensive. However, 2/3 of the boxes I ordered came with broken tiles. I think broken tiles are more likely with this format because the grooves create weaknesses in the 14x14 sheets. Besides the breakage, the tile was easy to work with and regular enough that all the groves lined up without too much effort. I used it for my kitchen backsplash and am really pleased with the look. What a great product! Lightweight and easy to cut with a fine blade in a miter saw. No chipping of finish when cutting. Installed a 13 x 13 room in under 3 hours with two people. Used the standard adhesive (blue tube) to secure it to a painted ceiling. Paint was sanded prior to installation. I was a little confused at the beginning when I got them because for some reason I thought I will get the whole square to install on the wall but they actually sent me only the corners (thank God I bought 4 of them, if you buy one piece only one corner you are going to get) and I wanted the rest of the molding to create a square on the wall. Fortunately I found the rest of the molding to make my vision happen but I have to buy it separately.
