The package was beat up bad when it arrived but the umbrella seemed fine. Material seems to be one that could withstand a season or two. I liked the cutouts that allow for wind but we will see how that does in these north Texas winds! Generally pretty easy to put together. Overall feels sturdy. One thing to note is you'll need to get 80-100 lbs of sand BEFORE you put this together to use for the base weights.
