So far so good. The installation was tough as the template supplied for the alignment of the screw holes on the back didn't really work. We had to modify the holes on the back. We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. Looks beautiful!! Love it!! Even on the quiet mode it is somewhat louder than expected. It really moves the smoke and smells out of the house though!! The noise from the fan doesn’t bother me as much as it may some others but for the price I did expect it to be more quiet but it has 2 powerful fans!! This was a great upgrade from my old extremely outdated vented range. It was on back order so I had to wait 3 weeks before it arrived. Once I had it installed I turned it on and the fan was not working. After moving it around and slightly pushing it in it worked just fine. This came in an extra large box and was packed with styrofoam very well no dents or damage. This was a heavy package so I greatly appreciate the delivery person bringing it all the way for my front door. This hood range is a beautiful stainless steel and has push button touch screen an is a very high end product unfortunately I didn’t measure correctly and 36 inches was to big for my space…. The only way to mount and make it work would have been to cut or replace mycabinets and I’m definitely not doing that. Next time I’ll measure better. This was apart of a tried an true review.. Had the exact same one in white and never had an issue with it ever. Updated to the stainless due to all stainless appliances.
