These seem to be great lights to replace some of our existing can lights with. They can connect with an app that I’m really excited to test out and see how interactive they are. Had we gone with the 13" we wouldn't have to touch up paint around it, but I also like that they aren't that noticeable and something bigger might have been too obtrusive as this is just a small rectangle between multiple rooms. My wife got this for me on a lark. We recently remodeled and repainted my office, and she felt like the light strand would make it kinda fun. She was 100% correct! The remote control has several buttons that let you change colors and animations. The only issue is, and they address this in the included manual, when you size it you have to cut at specific areas. This is my 2nd time purchasing these recessed LED lights. Love how simple they are to install and with just a small box vs. canned lighting they can be used in tight places. I wanted a light in specific place in the bathroom we're remodeling, but the location was right off of a beam.
