Being porcelain, it’s very hard and durable, and perhaps best of all, you can use an orbital sander to remove thinset and grout without damaging the finish—huge time saver! Just one critical thing to know in advance: these are spaced at 4mm, and you’ll have to search hard to find 4mm spacers. 3/16 is too wide, 1/8 is too skinny. On the upside, if things start looking a wee bit out of alignment, you can use those 3/16 and 1/8 spacers (very selectively) to cheat a little, with no discernible impact to aesthetics.. Ryan. This was exactly as described. Measurements were great, metal is strong, shelf is useful as are the utensil hooks under the shelf. We chose not to drill into the tile to adhere. We used adhesive to secure to the tile backsplash and the top edge slid under the stainless range hood already installed. Seemless, clean, great price and gives a very polished finished look. Rugged and classic, Slate Attaché 12" x 24" Porcelain Mosaic Tile brings a combination of rustic durability and timeless warmth to any room.

We chose this tile for a basement hallway project. It was significantly less expensive than several other styles we were considering, and was also a small (2x2) mosaic style which was necessary to conform to the cracks and bumps of our 100 year old basement floor. I will note that the color is far more an "olive brown" than anything resembling green. Also, the tiles must have been stored in a hot warehouse, or perhaps a hot delivery van because the sheets were firmly stuck together and were a pain in the neck to separate without damaging the tile. The tile does look very nice, with a fair amount of variation and seems to be of good quality. It will look best with a medium to fairly dark warm grout. Overall, we are happy with this product..
