I purchased the black handles. The handles are 'dainty', not bulky, not large, only 3.5" which is better for a narrower drawer (not a giant cabinet door). A cottage/farmhouse look. This light really wasn't hard to assemble; the directions are clear and there is an informative video on You Tube with a person demonstrating the assembly. But I had trouble keeping all the arms straight. I somehow crossed a couple and had to take off the nuts and try again. If you are assembling this one by yourself, you might consider taking a piece of tape and numbering the hole and a corresponding number on each arm of the light fixture. Matching the numbers will make things go quickly and accurately. I love this chandelier because it is dressy but not too formal.
