I love this set! This is so solid and heavy that I'm sure it would hold a lot of weight like a heavy, terry winter bathrobe or nice thick wet bath towel. I actually use it for my hand towel and face cloth next to my sink. My towels have loops so I hang it that way but it works just as well to hang the towel in the hook just like a towel bar. Super solid, heavy well made metal. No plastics like others. Super stylish..The handles streak a little when you wash/wipe them down but well worth a very quick wipe with a cloth or paper towel.
