This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. I’m still on the fence. The photos look nicer than the product in person, unfortunately. We needed something quick with integrated LED for building inspection so we just had to go with it, but there are too many little pieces that don’t quite make sense.
