Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. Once upon I time I could sharpen my knifes to razor sharpness by hand. Decades later my hands are no longer steady enough to do that. I spent 10 minutes reading the instructions and then ten minutes getting two 8" knives sharper than I could do it by hand. After using it a few more times I'll be able to get a knife sharp in under a minute. Seriously, I think I'll be able to sharpen a knife as fast as a professional chef does with one of their sharpening rods.
