I got this for my niece who is taking her sweet time cleaning her room and getting rid of her old bed. I assembled it into 4 pieces to carry upstairs once she has the space for it. It is beautiful! When I initially looked through the pictures, I saw this it said you didn’t need a box spring, but after it arrived, I saw that you in fact, DO need a box spring. So I’m still waiting for one. Love the look of this bed. Took a chance bc there were no reviews. The bed delivered in about 5 days. The packing wasn’t the best, but everything was intact and undamaged inside the box. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend. The materials seemed a little flimsy but once it was all assembled it was very sturdy. The size and storage were exactly what we needed for our space. We ordered this bed for one of the bedrooms in our luxury cabin build and I am honestly so impressed with the quality. The wood is heavy, sturdy, and looks far more expensive than the price point. You can really see the craftsmanship in the finish and overall design. It was also very easy to put together and feels extremely solid with no squeaking or movement. I notmally never buy anything without thoroughly reading reviews but this was a basic black bed frame so i figured it wasn’t a big deal. First we assembled the frame and there was a large gap. We realized we must have received queen side rails instead of full size. I contacted Wayfair and they immediately sent new side rails. As you can see from the photos the new side rails although they say they are for full size they are still too long. This would leave a significant gap between mattress and frame which makes no sense. I went back and looked at the measurements for each size frame from this brand and they make no sense. Wayfair is taking everything back. It’s unfortunate bc otherwise i do really like the frame but the sizing is off. This is no fault of Wayfair. They’ve corrected the issue. It’s a manufacturer issue with product.. Jennifer.
