Installed this color-changing bathroom fanlight recently and overall I’m really happy with it. Wayfair sent the wrong color since we wanted the matte black one, but support helped. The fan moves air well, the light is bright enough. Color modes are the fun bonus that makes the whole bathroom feel more modern. It’s great to have options… normal white light for getting ready, softer tones for nighttime, and color modes when you want a little vibe. That said, installation was a bit trickier than a standard fan because this unit has multiple functions (light fan color modes). We only had one existing electrical feed at the vent, and while the instructions said additional wiring was “optional,” we wanted to unlock the full potential so we ran an extra line to be able to control everything properly. NICE MIRROR! I haven’t had a chance to hang this yet as I need another person to help me. However, I am confident this will be the perfect upgrade for my bathroom! The lighting is bright but not harsh and offers variation in brightness. The backlight will give a added dimension for sure! It can be plugged in or hardwired but I will be plugging it in. Updated May 2026 The particles have disappeared- maybe absorbed with moisture of bathroom or just settled. I do also like the timer feature so the lights will turn off if I accidentally have left them on- same with defogger. Cool mirror. Love the lighting features. Unfortunately, once installed, we noticed particles win the lighting fixture that cannot be removed. Also came a bit damaged at top, uneven surface. The black frame of mirror is just spray painted.
