Bought as a replacement tub for remodel, not a new build space. Actual tub is 18 of inch bigger than dimensions listed and also in the product packaging!!! We had to rip out our drywall and trim down studs to fit it in our replacement tub space 60 inch standard. Tub install directions are thorough explains putting thinsetmortar under tub. Finish is shiny. We bought the drain from Kingston brass, as other ones will not fit under it correctly we found. Can’t wait to have a bath! It was not what I expected. The photos and information provided do not show that there is only one control, on or off. There are many different models and it is unclear which you are purchasing. Design is exactly as we expected and reinforcement on the underside is significantly better than the shower pans from the big box stores that I looked at. Support is very dense so floor should be very solid. I am very happy with this for our new bathroom installation in our basement.
