We ordered this umbrella to provide shade over a portion of our above-ground pool so we'd have a place to get relief from the strong Florida sun. It provides plenty of coverage without shading the entire pool, which is exactly what we wanted. The umbrella was straightforward to set up and feels sturdy once assembled. The canopy provides excellent shade, and the ability to adjust the position helps keep the shaded area where you need it throughout the day. We've also been impressed with how well it handles wind. We've had some pretty strong gusts here in Florida recently and kept a close eye on it. It stayed firmly in place and never felt unstable. We've only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to long-term durability yet, but so far we're very happy with it. It’s awesome. I was skeptical at first, but… it’s incredibly easy to put together and super easy to open and close. I love the lights and the base is extremely sturdy. I filled it with 12 sand and 12 water so it weights about 350 pounds. I highly recommend this cantilever umbrella. I also love the way it’s adjustable up and down and also swivels left and right. If you’re looking for a cantilever umbrella….look no further. If you have the means…..I highly recommend.
