This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. The hose in the back is small. Our old one had a bigger hose and would still get clogged up so I'm concerned about that, but so far it hasn't been a problem. Overall, I'm glad we got it.. Michelle. I have had my dehumidifier now for over a week. It is very quiet and so far has removed a good amount of water everyday. Really great at filtering out scents (way better than the over the hood microwave we had previously). It fits the same dimensions essentially too.
