When I first unrolled this mattress and pillow it was FLAT as a pancake. I honestly didn’t think it would end up expanding. We are using it on our camper bunk. I walked back in an hour later and it actually looked like a mattress and pillow! This is 24 hours later. My kids are already fighting over who gets to sleep on it. It still needs a few more hours to completely fill out, but it is already very comfortable. The pillow is an added bonus for sure! This is exactly what we were looking for.
