The one downside I encountered was the assembly. The instructions weren’t the best, and it took me a while to put it all together. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with this cabinet. It did arrive with one panel slightly bent, but my husband was able to lightly tap it with a hammer back into shape. It was carefully packaged well, but it is very heavy, and arrived by freight, so some bending is probably inevitable. We are using this in the garage, so we don’t mind a couple small dings. My husband said the assembly was relatively simple. There were a lot of pieces and it took about 2 hrs to put together. The drawers are smooth, and lock well— same for the cabinet doors. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet.
