By reducing surface water absorption, cracking, spalling, pitting, mold, mildew, algae, staining, and other damage and deterioration caused by surface water absorption will also be reduced.

I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. We are replacing our mini fridge which we keep in our garage. We placed the new fridge on top of an appliance cabinet so we could stock additional soda underneath. I did not attach the handle yet. I was actually slightly confused on how to remove the insulation to access the screws as directed. I’ll have my husband do it at some point. The fridge opens without the handle so it’s not a problem. I’m wondering if the extreme temperatures in the garage will be a problem with the glass front. As of now, it seems fine. We are very pleased with our fridge!. Stephanie. Hanover, PA.
