All our shower screens are made of tempered safety glass 3/8" Inch (10 mm) and are delivered with matching hinges. SAFETY GLASS All our doors are made of toughened/tempered glass. Tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. Tempering puts the outer surfaces into compression and the interior into tension. Such stresses cause the glass, when broken, to crumble into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards as plate glass (annealed glass) does. The granular chunks are less likely to cause injury. ABOUT THE COLOR OF THE GLASS Note: This door is normally made in float glass, float glass is transparent and lets the light pass through without problems but if you look at it from the edge it has a greenish color. Please Notice: Shower Doors SANDBLASTING WILL BE ON THE EXTERIOR SURFACE. The surface that will have the Sandblasted Art will be to the exterior surface, OUTSIDE of the shower. This is a good whirlpool bathtub but it is Not a free-standing tub. By definition a “free-standing bathtub” can be positioned anywhere in a bathroom and doesn’t need to be against a wall. Well this tub does need to be against 2 walls since it’s missing 2 wall side panels. We thought this was an error made by the manufacturer but it’s not. For a great look and quality spa in the bathroom, this is an exceptional bathtub that you need to try out. It's comfortable for people who are over 6 inches tall. The slanted back is comfortable and the water depth is deep enough to soak without a cold back. Holds heat well enough you can break out in sauna sweat if you’re in a hot bath long. Easy to wipe down clean. Easy to install for DIY bathroom updates. Light enough to carry to the second-floor bathroom but sturdy enough that it doesn’t move constantly when you’re getting in and out.
